SEASONED STUFFED PEPPERS Recipe: 20g SEASONED original 🇯🇲 10g SEASONED curried blend 🇯🇲 500g ( less than 5% fat mince beef) or 500g meatless mince Fry light / 1 tsp extra olive virgin oil.🇯🇲 3 long peppers (Lidl 99p per ok) 3 spring onions 1 small red onion 🧅 3 gloves garlic 2 medium sweet potatoes or white potatoes 2oz grated cheese 🧀 Cumin seeds - optional Sesame seeds to garnish Method - * Season mince with the seasoned original / curried * Boil potatoes, drain set aside to cool * Chop spring onions, red onion & garlic 🧄 * Spray frying pan with oil & fry off onions/ garlic then add mince , cumin seeds & simmer until brown. * Cut potatoes into small cubes & fold into the mince. * Add grated cheese & gently stir * Remove from heat * Allow mixture to cool *Stuff peppers with mince mixture. *Wrap in foil & bake for 25mins at 200c *Gently unwrap, slice if required . *Sprinkle sesame seeds & serve. Would you like to make Jerk Chicken this week? Here's our Jerk Chicken recipe 👩🏾‍🍳 4 chicken quarters ( score on top) 1Pkt of Seasoned Jerk Hot or Mild Rub (20g) 1 tablespoon of browning 2 tablespoons honey A drizzle of extra virgin oil or garlic infused oil. Put 20g of Jerk Rub in a bowl, add oil, browning & honey. Stir into a paste. Add Chicken ( or Fish/ Veg) making sure you cover all pieces. Marinade for at least an hour but ideally overnight. Place in oven 180c for 1hr 20mins or until meat is tender. Baste with jerk juices at 40 mins interval. Serve with fried dumplins, festivals & homemade slaw. Would you like to make Jerk Chicken this week? Here's our Jerk Chicken recipe 👩🏾‍🍳 4 chicken quarters ( score on top) 1Pkt of Seasoned Jerk Hot or Mild Rub (20g) 1 tablespoon of browning 2 tablespoons honey A drizzle of extra virgin oil or garlic infused oil. Put 20g of Jerk Rub in a bowl, add oil, browning & honey. Stir into a paste. Add Chicken ( or Fish/ Veg) making sure you cover all pieces. Marinade for at least an hour but ideally overnight. Place in oven 180c for 1hr 20mins or until meat is tender. Baste with jerk juices at 40 mins interval. Serve with fried dumplins, festivals & homemade slaw.
